Description
Attilio Incontri, a Volterrano nobleman, began the construction of this palazzo at the end of the 1500s. The façade has been attributed to Ammannati. The palazzo was bought by Giuseppe Viti in 1850, an alabaster merchant who oversaw its restoration.
The palazzo still boasts its 19th century furniture and decorations and holds a rich collection of alabasters, antiques and oriental objects which belonged to Viti who travelled widely for his work.
