Description
Marinas
Two ideally situated international marinas provide boaters with full facilities and services: the Port Henri Hallet, not far from the city centre, in Jambes, and the Port d’Amée, a little further upstream.
The harbourmaster’s office manages these two ports with very different identities and offers a complete panoply to cater for the needs and wishes of the boaters.
Port Henri Hallet Charlie’s Capitainerie [Charlie’s Harbourmaster’s Office] :
Situated in front of the Casino and the Citadel, the port, recently refitted, provides the best comfort to boaters and offers them all the supplies needed for their stay in Namur.
Boulevard de Meuse
5100 Namur (Jambes)
Open daily, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The floating harbour’s master office, moored to the port during the high season, plays regularly host to celebrations, concerts, exhibitions and other events. Water sports are large represented: Blob jump, stand-up paddle, but also athletic competitions … It is also possible to rent boats without licence (4 to 12 places) and to organise events upon request (team building, birthdays, etc.).
Port d’Amée - Charlie’s Club :
Upstream from Port Henri Hallet, Port d’Amée is intended mainly for boaters who are staying in Namur for more than one week. Flanked by tennis courts and a well-known gastronomic restaurant, it can meet the requirements of an exacting clientele in every respect. Here, the harbourmaster’s office provides more of a club-house service.
Avenue des Peupliers
