Description
Siriraj is one of the most prestigious hospitals of Bangkok.
It also owns its reputation to the Legal Medicine Museum, A true little chamber of horrors.
Amongst other museums to see, one should not miss the Criminology and the Anatomy Museums, where visitors can meet Si Oui, or rather his embalmed body. This serial killer used to eat the liver of his victims. Today, he is forever locked in a glass cage. The museum also presents the bodies of several other criminals, embalmed corpses of suicides, accidents and horrible murders victims.
Photographs of the consequences of accidents are also exposed.
In the Anatomy Museum, visitors can see legs, arms, intern and deformed human organs that have been embalmed. If this is not enough, you can go to the Parasitological Museum. That museum is fascinating but only for those who have a string stomach.
Museums are open daily during the week from 9 am to 3 pm.
